Mott MacDonald has appointed Lindsey Brown as growth director for Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia.
Based in Australia, Lindsey joins the regional leadership team to shape and deliver Mott MacDonald's regional growth strategy. Her role includes supporting client relationships, pursuit positioning, strategic recruitment and organic and inorganic growth initiatives across all markets.
Lindsey is welcomed at a time of growth for Mott MacDonald in Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia, with continued investment in priority areas including defence, energy transition, water, and transport. As the business expands its regional capabilities following the acquisition of Leed Engineering and continues to deliver major projects including Australia’s The Wave passenger rail line, Hong Kong’s Tsing Lung Bridge and Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 5, Lindsey will help drive the next phase of growth by connecting clients, markets and opportunities.
With 20 years' experience spanning environmental sustainability, public policy and strategic leadership in the water sector across Australia and internationally, Lindsey has a proven track record translating strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and measurable business growth. Lindsey joins Mott MacDonald from GHD, where she mostly recently served as the Australian water market leader, significantly increasing revenue over four years through a combination of purpose-driven collaboration and relentless client focus.
Commenting on the appointment, Adrian Jones, regional managing director for Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia, said: "Lindsey joins us at an exciting point in our growth journey across the region. She is a highly respected leader with a proven ability to build strong client relationships, foster collaboration and bring people together around a shared vision. Her strategic mindset and passion for creating positive outcomes for clients and communities will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business and strengthen our position in key markets."
Commenting on her appointment, Lindsey added: "Infrastructure in the APAC region is at a critical point where population pressure, environmental limits and cost-of-living concerns demand new approaches. I joined Mott MacDonald because of its global track record in industry-shaping capability. I’m excited to scale that capability with our clients and partners so together we can make meaningful headway on the challenges in our region."
